Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) members can update their date of exit from a company themselves using the online route. Employees can now self-update their date of exit in their EPF account.
The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has been coming up with more and more solutions to make the EPF structure easy and accessible to the general public. One such measure taken is allowing the employees to update the date of exit online without having to wait until the employer does it.
👉 The date of exit is updated when the contribution from the employees and employers is stopped.
It can only be marked two months after the last contribution made by the employer in the provident fund account of an employee.
Here is how an employee can update Date Of Exit, simply follow these simple steps.
Step 1 : Step 1: Login Member sewa portal- https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/ using UAN and password.
Step 2 : Click on ‘Manage’ tab and click Mark exit, Choose PF account number from Select Employment dropdown.
Step 3 : Enter Date of Exit and Reason for exit.
Step 4 : Click request OTP and enter OTP sent to Aadhaar linked mobile number.
